Just under a quarter of the missions the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter attended in 2021 took place within rural or farming regions. Greenlea’s Sponsor Story
Greenlea have been the principal sponsor of the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter since 2012 as a way to give back to the farmers & rural community that they work with every day.
The rescue helicopter is now a part of the Greenlea work culture. The rescue helicopter has made several trips out to the Hamilton Greenlea Premier Meats Plant for the employees to meet the rescue crew they support.
Westpac’s Sponsor Story
Westpac has been supporting New Zealand rescue helicopters since 1981.
Westpac promote and manage the Westpac Chopper Appeal which runs nationwide and aims to raise over $1 million for New Zealand's rescue helicopters each year.

Taupo Toyota has been a supporter of the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter for over seven years, and are the sponsors of the rescue helicopter’s Rapid Response Vehicles.
